As a small child, she had dreamed of a man with wings carrying her away to a magical land...a land of tranquility and harmony. Where beautiful beings and animals and plants dwelled....a Place of enchantment and perfection.......
The curtain was a veil to another dimension in her mind...so mysterious was the object of her desire on the other side.
Once...she had seen his magnificent wings spread as he'd watched the women in the bazaar. Such glorious flying instruments of intense color! His eyes had been as liquid sapphire watching and covetting those women. She,herself, had melted , in awe of his beauty. His black hair glistened almost blue...matching the intensity of his eyes. His body was lithe, and well developed as a starbeing would be....She had known this from her dreams. She had longed to reach out and touch his hands...graceful and strong as they held the parapet where he stood.
>All she had to do was reach out and push aside the dark blue velvet drapes. Taking a deep breath, she extended her arm, her fingers admired the richness of the fabric as they gathered the curtain for her to open it.
She gasped as she leaped back....for he was there and held the curtain! "I have been waiting for you", he said. "I felt you and knew you were to come". "But how?, she breathed. "The Gods told me who was meant for me and I've known you watched me". "But why have you never spoken to me?"she asked in a shaken voice. "I was to wait for you', he replied. At that, he reached out and she laid her hand in his...a current shot up her arm to her throat and in to her eyes!
And then, she saw his truth...his real beauty..he was no mere angel man. He was a GOD!...from the depths of her soul...her every dream as a mate...this man she saw was truly hers. His eyes spoke to her essence then and claimed her, acknowledging all that was meant to be. He gathered her to him and kissed her...his Godly exilir filling her totally....she then felt what she had never imagined would occur...wings sprouting from her back.....yes the Gods knew they truly belonged to one another. When you dream...make it perfection. |
